The Hurricane Season in the Northern Atlantic is usually considered to run from 1st June to 30th November, the Eastern Pacific Season starts 15th May and also ends 30th November. It should be noted that severe storms can and frequently do occur at other times. The forecasts provided are for Tropical Storms, including the most extreme varieties - hurricanes/cyclones. Less powerful weather events related to tropical weather disturbances such as Tropical Depressions are not provided.
